About Me

Senior designer. Ocean dweller. Obsessed with shipping great products.

Twenty years of agency work in Toronto. Now designing from the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia.

Complex digital products for some of Canada's biggest brands, across agencies and dev shops where the only thing that mattered was whether it worked and whether people loved it.

How I Work

I come alive in the ideation phase, the messy exciting part where nothing is decided yet and every direction is possible. I like getting into rooms with new people, asking uncomfortable questions, and finding better ways to solve problems before anyone has written a line of code.

I work closely with developers, use AI to accelerate ideation and wireframing, and take feedback well. After 20 years you learn what actually matters — and it's usually simpler than you'd expect.

Beyond the Screen

When I'm not designing, I'm cycling the back roads of Nova Scotia, playing guitar, or finding some new reason to be grateful I live on two acres overlooking the Atlantic. I paint when the mood strikes, spend too much time on single-player RPGs, and get pestered relentlessly by two dogs who have no concept of deadlines.

Married almost 22 years to someone with the patience of a saint and the good sense to marry a designer.
